Esta música foi gravada por diversos artistas, porém as melhores versões, na minha opinião, foram as do Roy Orbison e da Cindy Lauper. Até acho difícil dizer qual das duas versões é melhor. Na versão de Roy Orbison os atores Jason Priestley e Jennifer Connely fazem um par romântico no videoclip. A vida de Roy Orbison foi marcada por tragédias: sua esposa Claudete, caiu do banco traseiro de sua moto em 1966 e seus filhos morreram no incêndio de sua casa em 1968. Ele passou praticamente os anos 70 na obscuridade e somente nos anos 80 voltou a cena. Em 1980 ganhou um Grammy no dueto Emmylou Harris e em 1988 pelo dueto com K. D. Lang na música "Crying", que ainda pretendo postar aqui.
